10:30am - Homes open and shuttles leave
5pm - After tour celebration at Bend Brewing Company
The Central Oregon Green and Solar Homes Tour is one of the leading green home tours in the nation. This year's tour will showcase the greenest homes in Central Oregon that incorporate significant use of solar or other renewable energies, new and reclaimed green building materials, and low energy consumption and water conservation technologies. The Tour will kick off with a keynote speech by renowned Northwest architect Nathan Good, and will wrap-up with a People's Choice Award and celebration.
NEW FEATURE! Fixed Route Shuttle Buses for the Tour
Shrink your carbon footprint! Tour-goers can park & ride and enjoy all 6 homes on the Tour. All buses run continuously and all stop at each home for drop-off & pick-up. A bus pass holder can get on/off at any scheduled bus stop throughout the day. Parking will be available at the Bend Senior Center. Shuttle registration available on the registration site. LIMITED SPACE!This Green and Solar Home Tour is part of the Oregon Green and Solar Tours coordinated by Solar Oregon and is a part of the American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Tour.
